This can create doubt because it requires facing one's own sin. Nevertheless, when evil is defeated, joy comes. Pope Francis said Christmas carries a concrete message.<\/p>\n<p><strong>POPE FRANCIS<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>It is necessary to purify our faith every day. It is a matter of preparing ourselves to welcome not a fairy-tale character, but the God who challenges us, involves us and before whom a choice is imposed.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Pope Francis continued an ancient Roman tradition. After the Angelus, he blessed thousands of Baby Jesus figures the children brought.<\/p>\n<p>The children will take good care of them this week.
