{"id":47290,"date":"2019-12-09T19:11:40","date_gmt":"2019-12-09T18:11:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www1.romereports.com\/2019\/12\/09\/pope-visits-exhibit-with-nativity-scenes-from-around-the-world\/"},"modified":"2019-12-09T19:11:00","modified_gmt":"2019-12-09T18:11:00","slug":"pope-visits-exhibit-with-nativity-scenes-from-around-the-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.romereports.com\/en\/2019\/12\/09\/pope-visits-exhibit-with-nativity-scenes-from-around-the-world\/","title":{"rendered":"Pope visits exhibit with nativity scenes from around the world"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pope Francis visited the exhibit '100 presepi,' an international show that has been bringing the most special nativity scenes to the Eternal City for decades.<\/p>\n<p>This year, again, it is set-up very close to the Vatican and the pope wanted to see for himself the creativity and variety in sharing the story from 2,000 years ago in Bethlehem.<\/p>\n<p>There he found nativity scenes made with new materials... and others that were more traditional and conventional.<\/p>\n<p>Pope Francis walked through the exhibit greeting the visitors and artists from around the world who have recreated the birth of the Savior.<\/p>\n<p>Once the tour was completed, he said a short prayer and blessed the nativity scenes.<\/p>\n<p>The entertainment during the visit were these young Hungarians who sang some traditional Christmas carols for Pope Francis.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00c1ngeles Conde<\/p>\n<p>Melissa Butz<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>December 9, 2019.
