They were thrown in the river from the Sant'Angelo bridge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GABRIEL ESTEVAM DOMINGOS<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>\u201cIt's a gesture that doesn't add up, that isn't in accordance with the purpose of the Common Home.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Since the beginning of the synod, this figure of a pregnant woman caused much debate.<\/p>\n<p>For many indigenous, it represents the \u201cMother Earth of the Amazon.\u201d She grows the fruits of the synod in favor of minorities from Amazonian countries.<\/p>\n<p>For others, it represents the Mother of Jesus, with an Amazonian face.<\/p>\n<p>It may be that the thieves find offense in both versions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>October 21st, 2019.
