They are a Youth Ministry from the Archdiocese of Lucca, located in Tuscany. <strong>For a decade they have been attending one General Audience in St. Peter's Square to renew their faith. <\/strong>On this occasion they were accompanied by their new bishop, Paolo Giulietti.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MSGR. PAOLO GIULIETTI<br \/>\nArchbishop of Lucca (Italy)<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>\u201cYoung people want to feel part of a Church that attracts them. I think this Church helps young people who want to experience this; and in doing so Christianity is transmitted through this attraction.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Every year, before beginning the new school year, they go to Rome on a Tuesday. While in the Eternal City they profess their faith in St. Peter's Square at night. <strong>In the morning they attend the General Audience, go to Mass and afterward return to Lucca.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During these few days the students are able to share their faith with one another. They describe it as an opportunity for enrichment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>STELLA<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>\u201c It was very exciting for me. I had come before, when I was much younger. However, at that time, I didn't understand what it meant to be so close to the pope.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>ALESSIO<\/strong><br \/>\n<em> \u201cI was able to greet the pope as he was very close. I shook his hand and looked him in the eye. He then went on to greet my friends. It was so touching\u201d. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>During their pilgrimage, they express their joy in seeing the pope by performing songs.
