The feast of Corpus Christi invites us each year to renew our wonder and joy at this wonderful gift from the Lord, which is the Eucharist.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Pope Francis said that one should not become accustomed to receiving communion. He advised that every time one receives communion one should try to receive it as if it were the first time.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the Angelus, the pope recalled the 14 Spanish martyrs killed in the 1930s who were beatified on Saturday in Madrid.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>June 24, 2019.
