He notes although they are not perfect many of them give \u201ctheir all until the very end, offering themselves with humility and joy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The pope adds the need to be thankful for the testimony priests give. He says it is important priests \u201ccommit themselves actively,above all,to solidarity with those who are most poor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the 2018 Catholic Church Statistics, they are around 414,969 priests in the world.
