He is <strong>now in police custody<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>He has been accused of child abuse and<strong> will be sentenced next week<\/strong>. He could be faced with a sentence of<strong> up to 50 years in prison<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>George Pell <strong>has pleaded not guilty<\/strong> and has announced that he will appeal the sentence. During the appeal process he will be tried by three judges, not a jury. <\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the Vatican spokesman announced on Twitter that <strong>Card.
