He was received by the President of Panama and his wife with whom he had a brief private meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Afterwards, Pope Francis greeted the pilgrims who came to say goodbye to him before heading back to Rome.<\/p>\n<p>The pope also bid farewell to the country's cardinals, bishops and the rest of the authorities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As the World Youth Day song for Panama played in the background, Pope Francis concluded his 26th trip and boarded the plane to take him back to the Vatican.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>January 27, 2019.
