Guadalupe Ortiz de Land\u00e1zuri was a chemistry teacher who explained her daily happenings to St. Josemar\u00eda Escriv\u00e1 through some 350 letters. The book 'Letters to a Saint' has compiled some of these moving messages.<\/p>\n
TERESA ESCOBAR The first letter from Guadalupe to St. Josemar\u00eda was in 1944 to ask for admission to Opus Dei. Since then, throughout her life, she continued to write to share her challenges, experiences and joys. <\/p>\n The content of the letters speaks of how she wanted to live a path of holiness through her daily work.<\/p>\n MAR\u00cdA DEL RINC\u00d3N<\/strong> Guadalupe will be beatified May 18.
