He said even in bad moments God is there to console a person.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>POPE FRANCIS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe martyrs entered the Colosseum singing. The martyrs of today \u2013 I think of the good Coptic workers on the beach in Libya, whose throats were cut \u2013 died saying 'Jesus, Jesus!' There is a consolation within: a joy even in the moment of martyrdom. A Christian's habitual state should be consolation, which is not the same as optimism. Optimism is something else.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The pope encouraged Christians to ask God for the grace to not be afraid to be consoled by Him.
