I present to you my credentials as ambassador of Spain to the Holy See.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThank you very much, madam.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>With this simple but solemn gesture, Mar\u00eda del Carmen de la Pe\u00f1a Corcuera has officially becomes the new ambassador of Spain to the Holy See.<\/p>\n<p>Maria del Carmen has vast diplomatic experience. Until now she was consul general of Spain in Switzerland.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She has been ambassador to Ethiopia, Seychelles, Djibouti and Qatar. She has also been part of the Spanish diplomatic missions in Beijing, Brasilia, London and Tel Aviv.<\/p>\n<p>The new ambassador is married and has two children.
