It will be held after the pope has celebrated Mass with the most needy in St. Peter's Basilica.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is the second year Pope Francis has held a lunch with the poor and more invitations have been increased this time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>World Day of the Poor hopes to further promote the need to be more attentive and at the service of the marginalized in society.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As a way of encouraging more this call for service to the disadvantaged, the Vatican has also placed a tent hospital on St. Peter's Square. It has been open throughout the week to provide medical service to the homeless.&nbsp;<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>November 17th, 2018.
