The pope presented himself as the person outside Switzerland with the most Swiss near him, in recognition of the guards who protect him.<\/p>\n<p>Pope Francis and the president met a few months ago when the pope traveled to Geneva in June to meet with the World Council of Churches.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>November 12, 2018.
