They spent a few minutes in private demonstrating, once again, the good understanding between the Catholic Church and the Armenian Apostolic Church.<\/p>\n<p>After the traditional exchange of gifts, came the photographs. Then the two said farewell, in a very affectionate way.<\/p>\n<p><em>'May our prayer be with you.'<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The last time Pope Francis met with Karekin II was in April. He was in the Vatican gardens for the inauguration of this statue of St. Gregory of Narek, declared a doctor of the Church by Pope Francis in 2015.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oct. 24, 2018.
