It's a film festival showing the works that help to battle against poverty.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Among its supporters are actors like Clarence Gilyard from \u201cDie Hard,\u201d Assumpta Serna from \u201cFalcon Crest,\u201d and Sheree J. Wilson from \u201cDallas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>SHEREE J. WILSON<\/strong><br \/>\nActress<br \/>\n<em> \u201cIf you are putting out content that inspires people, it makes them feel and think and learn something about a whole other group of people, that is not their world; and tell compelling stories; and shed light into those dark spaces, then I think it is one of the best mediums in the world.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Assumpta Serna is part of the team of the film \u201cThe Network of Freedom,\u201d one of the most awaited films for the festival. It is the story of how Sister Helena Studler designed a network that allowed hundreds of prisoners from Nazi concentration camps escape.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>ASSUMPTA SERNA<\/strong><br \/>\nActress, \u201cThe Network of Freedom\u201d <br \/>\n<em>\u201cI love films like this one, like 'The Network of Freedom,' where you give examples of other peoples lives and how they changed the world, like Sister Helena Studler. I think cinema can also be used to change the world.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>PABLO MORENO<\/strong><br \/>\nDirector, \u201cThe Network of Freedom\u201d<br \/>\n<em>\u201c'The Network of Freedom' has been well received  in many festivals. We have already participated at 15 festivals. We have also won 10 international awards, and being here is an honor. I came representing a team of eighty and so many more who made this dream possible.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The festival began with a round table discussion in which the organizers explained the project. They have selected 90 works from 4,000 entries to be screened in Rome and Castel Gandolfo for four days.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to them the public will be presented with very different situations of poverty and will be asked about it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em> \u201cThe festival remembers the 400 years since St. Vincent started helping people. It is on the issues of poverty.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> \u201cThese films don't appear on billboards or can't be seen anywhere else. They can only be seen at these festivals or in smaller cinemas... They are interesting and can help us learn a lot.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It is the first time the festival has been held.
