The first is a conference on his encyclical Laudato si' on July fifth.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Then, on July 7, the pope will travel to Bari, where he has convened an ecumenical prayer encounter with Christian leaders from the Middle East. There, they will pray for a peaceful end to the many wars and conflicts in the region.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For the remainder of the month, Pope Francis will take advantage of an opportunity to work in the tranquility of his home.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>June 30, 2018.
