It's a shrine located 20 kilometers south of the city.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Its story dates back to 1745, when a pilgrim being persecuted by a pack of dogs called upon the Virgin Mary. The animals calmed down immediately. Since then, it's become one of the most-beloved sanctuaries for people from the area.<\/p>\n<p>Pope Francis will arrive at 5 p.m. and pray the rosary with the pilgrims present. Benedict XVI was the last pope to visit the sanctuary, doing so in 2006.&nbsp;<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>April 28, 2018.
