Iran, Russia, the United States, France, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia and Turkey have all participated.<\/p>\n<p>Pope Francis recently lamented in horror at the latest chemical attack that allegedly occurred in Syria. He asked for dialogue, instead of using weapons.<\/p>\n<p><strong>POPE FRANCIS<\/strong><br \/>\nApril 8, 2018<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cLet us pray that political and military leaders choose another path, that of negotiation, the only one that can lead to a peace other than that of death and destruction.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A week before, in front of thousands of pilgrims in St. Peter's Square for the Urbi et Orbi blessing he spoke of extermination in Syria.<\/p>\n<p><strong>POPE FRANCIS<\/strong><br \/>\nApril 1, 2018<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c...So that a swift end may be brought to the carnage in course, that humanitarian law may be respected and that provisions be made to facilitate access to the aid so urgently needed by our brothers and sisters.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The pope denounces everyone who is involved in the war, always standing by the lives of the innocent and the Syrians' right to remain in their land.<\/p>\n<p><strong>POPE FRANCIS<\/strong><br \/>\nFebruary 28, 2018<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt's a land full of martyrs...
