Faustin-Archange Touad\u00e9ra paid the Holy Father a visit at the Vatican.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In its press release, the Holy See says it appreciates \u201c<em>the positive efforts made to restore political and institutional stability<\/em>\u201d in the country.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Vatican also asks for collaboration between everyone in the nation, and the international community, \u201c<em>to promote peaceful coexistence and national reconciliation<\/em>.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Recently, some 600,000 people in the Central African Republic have been forced to abandon their homes.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The country is in the hands of armed groups who destroy everything in their path, ruthlessly torturing and killing, according to bishops.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The bishops assure that \u201c<em>boys and girls are exposed to all forms of violence, including sexual abuse and forced enlistment in armed groups<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>January 25, 2018.
