On the first Friday of mercy in 2018, the<strong> Holy Father was back with more surprises<\/strong>, this time to the little ones at Bambino Ges\u00fa Hospital.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cLook! It's Pope Francis!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The pope <strong>met doctors, parents and the children<\/strong>. Some of them couldn't believe who had just entered their room.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI hope, thanks to you, I won't have to undergo more operations.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Others were sleeping so soundly they didn't even realize.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes there's no need for words, as this girl's expression said it all when she saw the pope.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Before leaving, Pope Francis asked for one last show of affection, <strong>demonstrating yet again his compassion<\/strong> for kids.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>January 8, 2018.
