The head of the UN for matters related to disarmament, Izumi Nakamitsu, will also be in attendance.<\/p>\n<p>All of them will participate in a congress at the Vatican from <strong>November 10 through 11<\/strong>, and will also hold a meeting with Pope Francis.<\/p>\n<p>In 2015, the <strong>pope launched a global petition<\/strong> from the United Nations to abolish nuclear weapons, and on September 26 he did the same through this<strong> tweet<\/strong>.
