In that time when he was president of the Republic, his great-uncle Eduardo gave Mother Laura the Cross of Boyoc\u00e1, which is the highest honor given to Colombian citizens.\u00e2?\u009d<\/p>\n<p>Her congregation, known as Mother Laura's missionaries, work in over 20 countries in Latin America and Africa. And she saw that the Lord called on her maternity, a spiritual maternity with indigenous people.
