It was almost 8:20PM local time in Israel when the El Al plane took off, concluding the Pope's pilgrimage to the Holy Land.<\/p>\n
The Pope returned to Rome after three days loaded with important meetings and actions. Among them: the embrace with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, and the promise from the Israeli and Palestinian presidents to travel to the Vatican to pray for peace.<\/p>\n
