Pontifex: Poetry, music and film at the service of the New Evangelization"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From the time that we enter until the time that we pass,<br \/>\n\tFrom the first breath we take until the very last,<br \/>\n\tLife is a battle with many twists and turns,<br \/>\n\tUnanswered questions and many lessons learned.<\/p>\n<p>\tThis is how New Evangelization sounds thanks to American priest Fr. Claude Burns, AKA Fr. Pontifex.<\/p>\n<p>\tHe started rapping at the age of 17, and became a priest when he was 30. Since then, he feels called 'to bring the Gospel outside the walls, thru poetry, music, and film.\u00e2?\u009d<\/p>\n<p>\tFr. Pontifex has two albums: Ordained, and The Symphonic and The Static. The last one focuses on the joys and hardships of life.<\/p>\n<p>\tOne of his most celebrated songs is 'Count The Cost,' a reflection on love and sacrifice. It features compelling lyrics and images.<\/p>\n<p>\tHe is not only a music composer and parish priest in Indiana. Fr. Claude Burns is also the spiritual guide of Spirit Juice Studios, a faith-based design and production house.<\/p>\n<p>\tFr. Pontifex is currently working on his next album, titled 'The Invincibles.'
