{"id":50918,"date":"2014-07-03T16:41:59","date_gmt":"2014-07-03T14:41:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www1.romereports.com\/2014\/07\/03\/pope-to-meet-with-prisoners-and-the-sick-at-italian-region-of-molise\/"},"modified":"2014-07-03T16:41:00","modified_gmt":"2014-07-03T14:41:00","slug":"pope-to-meet-with-prisoners-and-the-sick-at-italian-region-of-molise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.romereports.com\/en\/2014\/07\/03\/pope-to-meet-with-prisoners-and-the-sick-at-italian-region-of-molise\/","title":{"rendered":"Pope to meet with prisoners and the sick at Italian region of Molise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Saturday, July 5, Pope Francis will visit Molise, a sparsely populated region in central Italy.  \t<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;His visit will last a few hours, but the Pope will visit three towns: Campobasso, Castelpetroso and Isernia.  \t<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;His first stop, at Campobasso, will be the University of Molise, where he will meet with local workers and businessmen.  \t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At 10:30AM, he will celebrate Mass at a former stadium, following by an audience with the sick at the cathedral.  \t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pope Francis will then have lunch with a group of homeless at the 'House of Angels' shelter, run by Caritas. Once he's done, he will head to Castelpetroso to meet with youth from Molise and nearby Abruzzo.  \t<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;In the afternoon, in Isernia, he will visit a jail to meet with the prisoners.  \t<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;His visit will end with a mass audience at the city's Cathedral Plaza. There, he will inaugurate the Jubilee for the 800th anniversary of the birth of Pope Celestine V.  \t<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;The motto for this visit is 'God never tires of forgiving.' It'll will be the third time a Pope visits this region.  \t  \t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>July 3, 2014.
