There, he's planning on delivering a message from the Pope to Iraq's newly elected President, Fuad Masam.<\/p>\n<p>Cardinal Filoni along with Chaldean Patriarch, Louis Sako, are asking the international community for concrete action to help persecuted  ;Christians and Yezidis. ;<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, both prelates are asking for: ;<br \/>\nHelp with basic necessities, like water and medical supplies. The liberation of villages and other sites that have been occupied, as soon as possible, and for the international protection of these villages.<\/p>\n<p>Cardinal Filoni already met with political authorities of Kurdistan, where most refugees are fleeing to.
