The main goal of this Evangelical organization is to carry out humanitarian work.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>'We are concerned about the ongoing societal evils such as slavery, human trafficking, addiction, the stigmatization of people who suffer with HIV.\u00e2?\u009d<\/p>\n<p>The Salvation Army was founded in 1865. It engages with the Catholic Church through the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity.
