He said Christians are saved individually, but always inside God's community, meaning the Church.<\/p>\n<p>POPE FRANCIS<br \/>\n'There\u00e2??s the danger of forgetting that He saved us individually, but at the same time as part of His people and community. \u00a0His people. \u00a0Let's care for one another. \u00a0Salvation is not just for me. \u00a0If that\u00e2??s the way I understand salvation, I\u00e2??m wrong and I'm following the wrong path. \u00a0The privatization of salvation is the wrong path.\u00e2?\u009d<\/p>\n<p>The Pope then added that the Church does not have room for so called ecclesial elites.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>EXCERPTS OF THE POPE'S HOMILY<br \/>\n(Source: Vatican Radio)<\/p>\n<p>'It\u00e2??s true, Jesus has saved us all, but not in a general fashion. \u00a0All of us, each one with their name and surname. \u00a0And this is our personal salvation. \u00a0I am truly saved, the Lord looked at me, gave his life for me, opened this door, this new life for me and each of us can say \u00e2??For me.\u00e2?? \u00a0But there\u00e2??s a danger of forgetting that He saved us individually but at the same time as part of his people or community. \u00a0His people. \u00a0The Lord always saves his people. \u00a0From the moment he calls Abraham and promises to make them his people. \u00a0 And the Lord saves us as part of this community. \u00a0That\u00e2??s why the writer of this Letter (to the Hebrews) tells us: \u00e2??Let us be concerned for each other.\u00e2?? \u00a0There is no salvation solely for me. \u00a0If that\u00e2??s the way I understand salvation, I\u00e2??m mistaken and going along the wrong path. \u00a0The privatization of salvation is the wrong path.\u00e2?\u009d<\/p>\n<p>'And when I\u00e2??m in a parish, in a community  \u00a0or whatever it is \u00e2??
