She had no idea what would happen next.<\/p>\n<p>MARIA DI ANIMA CHRISTI<br \/>\nReligious Family of the Incarnate Word<br \/>\n'Really, if someone had told me when I was 18 that someday I would be a nun, I would have said 'You're crazy.''<\/p>\n<p>She analyzed churches and artwork in Rome while in college. Eventually, she realized that what she was studying was more than art.<\/p>\n<p>MARIA DI ANIMA CHRISTI<br \/>\nReligious Family of the Incarnate Word<br \/>\n'When I visited the churches to see paintings and statues, I noticed other people were praying in front of them. I began to see a vitality in the Church that I had never seen before.'<\/p>\n<p>In the end, Sister Mary decided to join the Religious Family of the Incarnate Word. The congregation has male and female branches and was started in Argentina in 1984.<\/p>\n<p>MARIA DI ANIMA CHRISTI<br \/>\nReligious Family of the Incarnate Word<br \/>\n'I was drawn to the lifestyle: daily worship, the habit, their studies to deepen their faith.
