The guitarist and fiddler is one of country music's most distinct voices. Today, he is a musical legend in the United States, and he's also a proud Christian. ;<\/p>\n<p>As a child, Daniels sang during religious services at the Pentecostal Church. After wandering from Christianity for a period, he returned with his faith stronger than ever. Daniels is now a leader in Christian country. In 1979, he won a Grammy for Best Country Vocal Performance for his classic, 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia.'<\/p>\n<p>Charlie Daniels plays the guitar, banjo, mandolin and fiddle. He says his musical diversity surprises attendees at his concerts.<\/p>\n<p>He still tours aggressively, performing dozens of shows per year.
