They left everything behind- and these refugee camps became their new home. ;<\/p>\n<p>Recently two California Congressmen introduced a bill to help these Christians and other religious minorities, that have been persecuted in Iraq and Syria. ;<\/p>\n<p>If approved, it would give these groups priority in the U.S Refugee Admissions Program, and ultimately the possibility of relocating to the U.S. ;<\/p>\n<p>The Protecting Religious Minorities Persecuted by ISIS Act, was introduced by two San Diego area legislators: Republican Duncan Hunter and Democrat Juan Vargas.
