Pope Francis is spending just one day in Bosnia-Herzegovina, but it should be a busy one. On June 6th, he plans to deliver four speeches and a Homily, as well as meet with several groups.<\/p>\n
After about an hour and a half flight from Rome, Pope Francis is expected to land in Sarajevo at 9:00 a.m.<\/p>\n
Following a welcoming ceremony, he plans to visit the presidential palace and meet with local dignitaries.<\/p>\n
The Pope is set to celebrate Mass at Olympic Stadium in Sarajevo, which can accommodate more than 37,000 spectators.<\/p>\n
Priests, nuns, and seminarians will have the chance to meet the Pope at a cathedral in the city. The schedule then calls for an interreligious meeting at the Franciscan International Student Center. ;<\/p>\n
After Pope Francis meets with young people at a youth center named for Saint Pope John Paul II, his final scheduled event is a farewell ceremony at the airport.<\/p>\n
According to his itinerary, the Pope should land in Rome by 9:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
