So she's creating profound music, with unique videos, to spread the word.<\/p>\n<p>This video was shot about two miles from Islamic State terrorists. It was dangerous, but Luv wanted to record the video for her song 'Revolution\u00e2?\u009d near the town of Mosul.<\/p>\n<p>Luv is of Kurdish-Iranian origin. As a child, her family had to flee their home. She spent nine months in a Turkish refugee camp. Her family then emigrated to Finland and experienced discrimination, but she found solace and strength in her music.<\/p>\n<p>She often sings about peace, justice, and freedom.\u00a0And Luv hopes to call attention to the crimes being committed by the Islamic State in her homeland.<\/p>\n<p>The people who appeared in her music video aren't actors. They're actual victims of jihadist atrocities. The video is a tribute to the victims, as well as the Kurdish army that is defending minorities from Islamic State oppression.<\/p>\n<p>Her ultimate goal is to help women who were kidnapped by the terrorists and subsequently escaped.
