Oscar Romero would be beatified, some of his associates came to Rome and delivered testimony about the Salvadoran bishop's life.<\/p>\n<p>MSGR. JESUS DELGADO ACEVEDO<br \/>\nFormer Secretary of Msgr. Romero<br \/>\n'He was a friend, a good Christian and loyal person. He was also very humble.\u00e2?\u009d<\/p>\n<p>The humble Romero has now received another unique distinction: a small planet has been named after him. (Although it may actually be an asteroid, because it's exact the classification hasn't been determined.)<\/p>\n<p>The Vatican Observatory was not involved in the naming, and only found out about it through media reports. It's unclear who changed the name.<\/p>\n<p>The celestial body was previously known as '13703\u00e2?\u009d after it was discovered in 1998 by a Belgian astronomer in Chile. The name change was announced just last month.
