Franciscan Fr. Dhiya Azziz is praish priest of Yacoubieh, near Aleppo.<\/p>\n<p>He was travelling by taxi from Lattakia to his parish for the Christmas celebrations. He was returning from Turkey where he'd visited his family, who'd fled from Iraq after the invasion of ISIS.<\/p>\n<p>The Franciscans say they 'do not exclude the possibilty that a group has taken him\u00e2?\u009d. In a statement they released, asking for prayers for him, they noted that 'The very chaotic situation in the country does not allow much room for action\u00e2?\u009d.<\/p>\n<p>Fr. Dhya Azziz comes from Mosul and on January 10th \u00a0turns 42 years old.
