Just 18 years after her death, the 'mother of the poor,\u00e2?\u009d as Saint John Paul II called her, will be raised to the altars.<\/p>\n<p>Her great life has been brought to the big screen many times. Still, 'The Letters\u00e2?\u009d brings a unique version of Mother Teresa to views: It focuses on her loneliness.<\/p>\n<p>'Inside, she was experiencing a terrible emptiness. No one knew about her feeling of isolation.\u00e2?\u009d<\/p>\n<p>The film is largely based on letters between Mother Teresa and her spiritual adviser, the Jesuit priest Celeste Van Exem.<\/p>\n<p>'The letters she wrote document a loneliness she endured over the period of six decades.\u00e2?\u009d<\/p>\n<p>There are nearly 50 years of correspondence that tell how the famous nun lived long periods of spiritual difficulty.
