She died in 1957.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, September 4th, Mother Teresa of Calcutta will be canonized, exactly 19 years and one day before her death in 1997. It will be a massive ceremony and thousands of pilgrims from around the world are expected to be in attendance.<\/p>\n<p>And on Sunday, October 16th, the Argentine priest Jose Gabriel Brochero and the Cristero child will be proclaimed saints in a joint ceremony. Brochero was known as the 'gaucho priest,\u00e2?\u009d who evangelized the most depressed areas of Argentina on the back of a donkey and is considered a model priest in peripheries.
