The app was given to the Pontifical Council for the New Evangelization as a birthday gift for the Pope.<\/p>\n<p>'Misericors' is very interactive and allows people to incorporate good deeds into their daily lives. Upon opening the app, the user is able to choose \u00a0a Work of Mercy, and then specify how he plans on carrying that work out.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For example, one could choose, 'Visit the Sick,\u00e2?\u009d and then type, 'I visit my neighbor in the nursing home.\u00e2?\u009d The user may then upload a photo of the act, add a hashtag, and click either 'will do it\u00e2?\u009d or 'will pray.\u00e2?\u009d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>'Misericors\u00e2?\u009d gives users the opportunity to connect their spiritual and social lives by allowing them to share their good deeds on their 'wall,\u00e2?\u009d and to subscribe to other users' accounts so they can be inspired by their deeds as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This app is available for both Apple and Android products and can be translated into thirteen languages, including English, Spanish, Italian, and French.<\/p>\n<p>MP<br \/>\nMG<br \/>\nSV<br \/>\n-PR<br \/>\nUp:JRB<br \/>\n#Tech&science<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>March 19, 2016.
