The Bulgarian President gave Pope Francis a picture of St. Clement of Ohrid, Bulgarian bishop from the ninth and tenth centuries, a saint in both the Catholic and Orthodox Churches.<\/p>\n<p>He also gave a scroll summarizing the life of Saint Clement, who was the first disciple of St. Cyril and St. Methodius.<\/p>\n<p>On his part, the Pope responded with copies of his encyclical Laudato si' and his apostolic exhortations, Evangelii Gaudium and Amoris Laetitia, in addition to a peace medallion, which he explained in detail.<\/p>\n<p>'Make peace.'<\/p>\n<p>The Bulgarian President parted with a warm goodbye, and the Pope, as always, asked him to pray for him.<\/p>\n<p>-Thank you so much.<br \/>\n-Pray for me and I will pray for you.<br \/>\n-We love you.
