Born in Seville, Spain, in 1877, he was known as the 'Bishop of the abandoned tabernacle,\u00e2?\u009d and he is also the founder of the 'Eucharistic Missionaries of Nazareth.\u00e2?\u009d<\/p>\n
Two members of this congregation tell us all about this relatively unknown figure which will soon be made a saint.\u00a0<\/p>\n

There he realizes that Jesus came to give us life, He is in the Eucharist, but we have abandoned Him. That is why he says he wants to be the 'Bishop of the abandoned tabernacle.'\u00e2?\u009d<\/p>\n
He coined an expression that describes his ultimate goal in life: to 'eucharistize\u00e2?\u009d the world. To fulfill that goal, he founded the Eucharistic Missionaries of Nazareth.<\/p>\n

Manuel Gonz\u00e1lez is being canonized after his intercession was proven in a miraculous healing, but according to Sr. M\u00f3nica and Sr. Mar\u00ed\u00ada his legacy goes far beyond, as a way for the world to be a witness of his unwavering faith in God.<\/p>\n

Manuel Gonz\u00e1lez will be canonized on October 16 along with six other blesseds, who will all be enrolled in the canon of saints by Pope Francis.<\/p>\n
