The Ulmas, who lived on a farm, took in eight members of a persecuted family that had managed to escape from the Auschwitz concentration camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was on March 24th when, following a tip, the Nazis arrived at the Ulma's house and murdered the Jewish family. They also killed J\u00f3zef, Wiktoria and their seven children, including the baby they were expecting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their selfless acts made the Ulma family known as a martyr family who were witnesses to Christian life not only during the Nazi occupation of Poland, but throughout their entire lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AT<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For the first time in history, an entire family will be beatified, including the unborn baby.
