He says prayers can help them not to feel alone in these difficult moments and also help their families find the support they need to sustain those who are ill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pope said even when there is little chance of a cure, all patients have the right to medical, psychological and spiritual accompaniment. He stated that \u201cincurable\u201d does not mean \u201cun-carable.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This month's petition is organized within the framework of the World Day of the Sick, which Pope John Paul II instituted in 1992.
