I believe that in some way me becoming a cardinal indicates that the Pope wants to strengthen the life of the Church in Latin America. He also wants to feel accompanied by those he knows in some way are in tune with the Church he promotes. It is the Church that Latin America designed throughout the general conferences of the Latin American and Caribbean Bishops' Conference.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
