The subject of the document is human dignity. And the head of the Vatican Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, Cardinal V\u00edctor Manuel Fern\u00e1ndez, says it includes \u201ca strong criticism of the immoral tendencies of contemporary society,\u201d featuring issues like sex change, surrogacy and gender ideologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Theologians have been working on the document for the past fives years and it has also been reviewed by Pope Francis, who has often spoken out about these moral issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
