And in St. Peter's Square, Pope Francis renewed his call for peace.<br><br><strong>POPE FRANCIS<br><\/strong><em>Our thoughts, at this moment, go towards the people in war. We think of the Holy Land, Palestine, Israel; we think of Ukraine, the suffering Ukraine. We think of the prisoners of war that the Lord moves the will for the release of everyone.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pope also expressed sorrow for the abuses commented during war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>POPE FRANCIS<br><\/strong><em>Speaking of prisoners, it comes to mind that they are tortured. Torture is an ugly thing; it is not human. We think of the numerous tortures that wound the human dignity of the person.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The document, Dignitatis Infinita, published recently by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, lists the \u201cgrave violation\u201d against human dignity.
