For the past three years, Pope Francis has been involved in Italy's General State of Birthrate\u2014a forum dedicated to addressing the serious birth decline across Europe, especially in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2023, births in Italy hit a record low of just 379,000 births\u2014a figure that is a 34.2% drop since 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
