The President of the United Nations General Assembly, Dennis Francis, visited the Vatican to meet with the Pope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two discussed diplomacy, dialogue and care for the environment\u2014a topic close to Pope Francis' heart. The UN President gave him a pin, which reads, \u201cChoose sustainability.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Pope returned the gesture by giving the President a bronze plaque made in the Vatican workshops.
