He is up for re-election in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a gift to the Pope, the President brought a hand-made, wooden representation of his country.<br><em>Your Holiness, this is a map of Malawi, and from North to South, with the lake.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pope in turn gifted him a figure of Mother Mary, his message for peace and books that he has written.<br><em>I'm an avid reader, I will\u2026thank you.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The President and his wife have four children and twelve grandchildren.
