One of them was the Pope's personal gesture to a man in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last week Pope Francis had received a pair of new shoes, size 42, and decided to donate them to the Vatican office in charge of charity: the papal alms office. This office gave them to Giuseppe, who has been living on the street for years. This was confirmed by the cardinal in charge of this department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A luncheon for the needy was held on Sunday.
