Caritas calls for international aid for Sudan. The nearly two years of war have devastated the country, which has more than 8 million internally displaced people and 3.5 million refugees who have fled to neighbouring countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Caritas also expresses its concern about the decision of the United States to freeze key funding for the distribution of humanitarian aid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The United Nations has also called on the international community to become more involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
